You reach a four way stop at the same moment as a driver on the cross street to your right. Both of you have stopped, and neither of you is signalling a turn.

  1. You go first, because a driver on your right always has to wait
  2. The driver on your right goes first
  3. Whichever of you edges forward first has taken the turn
  4. The driver on the wider of the two roads goes first

The answer is B

At a four way stop the first driver to stop goes first. When two drivers stop together, the one on the right has the right of way. The rule exists so that two people facing the same doubt settle it the same way instead of guessing at each other.

The real test is 40 questions.

It splits into 20 questions on road signs and 20 questions on rules of the road.

How many mistakes can you make on the G1 test?

You have not passed the G1. Both sections have to reach 16 out of 20 on the same attempt, and each is judged on its own, so the next step is a retake at $15.75.

How long do I have to hold a G1 before the road test?

Twelve months, or eight months if you finish an approved driver education course. The course is the only way to shorten that wait.
