No. From 19 October, eligible BC novice drivers can get a restricted Class 5 through a Driving Record Assessment instead of a second road test.

Can you take the ICBC knowledge test online?

Yes. Since 9 June 2026 ICBC lets you take the car and motorcycle knowledge tests online with a webcam. The licence itself is still issued at an office.
