SAAQ Class 1 heavy vehicle knowledge test: your missed questions
Everything this run does, in front of you first. Licensing in Quebec is run by Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), and every line marked with a source below comes from what they publish.
How long this run is depends on how many questions this browser has saved from your earlier runs. The count appears with the button below once the page has read it.

- Class 1 is the combination of road vehicles class, which is the tractor trailer licence.
- The pass mark is 75 percent across the whole test. No question count is published, so we do not state one. The SAAQ says to allow about an hour.
- It is one test rather than parts scored on their own.
- Fail and you wait at least seven days, book again and pay the fee again.
- You need a valid Class 5 licence held for at least two years, fewer than four demerit points, no suspension or revocation in the last two years, and a medical report with an eye exam accepted before you book.
- Training now comes before the licence. Either the Class 1 road safety education program, which runs at least 125 hours split into 75 hours of theory and 50 hours of driving, or the trucking diploma of vocational studies from the education ministry.
- The F endorsement for air brakes is a knowledge test of its own, and you can sit it at the same appointment.
- The SAAQ does not publish a minimum age for Class 1, so we do not state one.
You have no saved questions for Quebec yet. Anything you get wrong in a full test or a practice run is kept here, in this browser and nowhere else, and this is where you come back to it.
