  • Forty questions on a touch screen at a driver licensing office, or the same test online.
  • Passing means 32 correct out of 40, which is 80 percent.
  • You get 45 minutes.
  • A skip button lets you put one question off, and the ones you skipped come back at the end.
  • A failed attempt means waiting a day in person, or 24 hours online.
  • Hold a full Class 5 or 6 and you come out with a 6L. Hold an L or an N and you come out with an 8L, and with neither you sit the car knowledge test as well.
